Zheng was abandoned at the emergency room of Inner Mongolia Hospital since he has right lip and palate cleft and was picked up then sent to our CWI. He was accepted as lip and palate cleft on admission and was sent to a foster family. He has a routine life, has meals 5-6 times per day mainly with milk powder. Noodles, four product soup are added between milk meals with moderate intake amount. His favorite food is noodles. He sleeps 2-3 times per day at uncertain time with sound sleep.
As of Dec 2008 his height was: 55cm, weight: 5.5kg, head size: 41cm and chest size: 45cm. He is considered to be dwarfishness. Now he is able to roll over to any directions, roll from supine to prone position freely, and crawl forwards. He enjoys sleeping while lying prone, likes more activities. He could stand steadily when holding onto handrails, hold his milk bottle with both hands, and feed himself the cookies, hold toys by both hands. He loves any toys. He could figure out strangers and acquaintances, know his name, respond to adults’ facial expressions, and he is willing to playing games with his foster mother. He often makes sound of ah-ah, enjoys playing inside his crib alone, sit steadily alone. He is active, restless, and extroverted and is able to share his food and toys with others. His favorite activity is crawling to play. His favorite toy is little duck and plastic balls.
